The introduction of the European Community Whole Vehicle Type Approval (ECWVTA) legislation means that vehicles and components must meet an approved industry standard.
A ‘type’ of vehicle is based on a group of vehicles that have the same characteristics, one vehicle from this group type is tested and number of requirements are put in place. UKAP work alongside world renown brands to ensure all our products are stamped with the E-mark in accordance with the certification for the Economic Commission for Europe (ECE).
All our wiring looms and harnesses are manufactured and supplied in accordance with the Ingress Protection Rating (IP). Electrical wires are rated by how much they are protected against damage from solid objects, water, dust and any accidental contact.
We provide data sheets and documentation as and when requested.
