The role would suit a confident sales engineer with automotive or commercial vehicle electrical experience who is keen to expand their skills and develop a long term future with the company.
This is a key role within our commercial sales team to help grow and develop our customer base, increase product sales and long term committed revenue streams.
• You will be responsible for sales of products within a specific geographical area.
• You will take responsibility for your own sales targets and identify new potential customers.
• You will manage your own territory activity including prospecting, sales and account management.
• You will work closely with customers from a technical capacity to support product design and sales opportunities.
• You will discuss, guide and contribute to marketing activities.
Whilst a certain technical skill set is important, enthusiasm, creativity and a drive to succeed are key factors to this appointment.
• Electrical or mechanical vehicle engineering background.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes as well as commercial vehicle electrical installation.
• Experience of harness design with an understanding of power distribution.
• Knowledge of or experience with commercial vehicle, trailer manufacturers, bodybuilders, installers, off road, plant, construction equipment, rail, bus, coach and military.
• Experience in a sales or business development role.
• You will be happy to work autonomously, be self driven and self managing.
• Experience in a technical or engineering position.
• PC literate, particularly with Microsoft packages including a good level of Excel and Power Point.
• Excellent communication and people skills, a relationship builder able to win trust.
• Highly organised with solid work ethic approaching tasks tenaciously.
• Full clean UK driving license.
