Our Top Products For Winter

Our top winter products

Now we’re at the end of a relatively mild October, it is time to start thinking about protecting your vehicles against the challenges of winter weather.

Weather considerations

There is plenty of water around in winter. Rain, sleet and snow are common, and the cold atmosphere means more condensation. To make matters worse, this water can find itself in cracks and crevices and freeze overnight, expanding and breaking the surrounding material.

When buying accessories and parts, look for their IP rating. This describes how protected the item is against water and particulate ingress. IP69 is a good standard for the industry, which means the internal components are protected against submersion and water pressure. Have a look at our guide to IP ratings for a complete explanation.
